A full-body colour PPF fit at Detailing Shoppe takes 3-4 days. That is deliberate, not slow: the film has to be laid, the edges wrapped and the whole car left to cure properly. Rushing any of those three is what causes lifting and peeling months later.
Why it is not a same-day job
Colour PPF is not a wrap you can stretch on and trim. Every panel is cut and fitted, the edges are tucked so no seam is left exposed to a pressure washer, and the adhesive needs time to settle before the car goes back out on the road. A fit rushed into a single day is a fit that comes back.
What you get for the wait
Every colour PPF we install carries a 5-year warranty, and that covers the colour-shift films too. The paint underneath stays original, which is the whole point of choosing film over a respray.

Can I get the car back in between?
No. The car stays with us through the cure. Taking it out mid-process risks contamination on unfinished edges.
Does a partial job take less time?
Yes. Bonnet-and-roof or a single-panel job is considerably quicker than a full body. Tell us the coverage you want and we will give you the timeline for that specific car.
Is the paint underneath affected?
No. The film sits on top of your factory paint and protects it. That is the difference between colour PPF and a respray.
