The Curing Process
Keep the vehicle completely dry. The graphene matrix is establishing its initial bond. Avoid sprinklers, rain, and puddles. If it gets wet, gently dry immediately with a clean microfiber.
DO NOT WASH the vehicle. The coating is hardening to its full 10H capacity. Bird droppings or tree sap should be removed gently with water and a soft cloth, but avoid full detergent washes.
The "Dos"
- ● Use the 'Two Bucket Method' (One for soap, one for rinse).
- ● Use only pH Neutral car shampoos (e.g., Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions).
- ● Wash on a bi-weekly basis to prevent contamination build-up.
- ● Use high-quality microfiber mitts and drying towels.
- ● Wash in the shade when the surface is cool to the touch.
- ● Use a Graphene-infused detailer every 3 months to boost hydrophobicity.
The "Don'ts"
- × Do NOT use automatic brush car washes (These void warranty).
- × Do NOT wash in direct sunlight.
- × Do NOT use abrasive towels, sponges, or chamois leathers.
- × Do NOT use aggressive cutting compounds or polishes.
- × Do NOT let bird droppings or tree sap bake onto the surface.
- × Do NOT wax over the coating with traditional paste waxes.
Pro Tip: Maintenance
Graphene coatings are self-cleaning, but not self-washing. Regular maintenance ensures the "lotus effect" (water beading) remains active for the full 5 years.
Limited 5-Year Warranty
Coverage
Turtle Wax warrants that with proper application by an Authorized Installer, your vehicle's paint finish will remain protected against the following for a period of 5 years:
- Oxidation and loss of gloss
- UV Damage and fading
- Acid rain etching
- Industrial fallout
- Paint chalking
Conditions & Validity
To maintain warranty validity, the vehicle must be registered for legal non-commercial road use. This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original vehicle owner only.
Mandatory Annual Inspection
An annual inspection and decontamination wash must be performed by an Authorized Installer within 30 days of the anniversary date. Failure to perform this annual service will terminate the warranty.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Collision, vandalism, fire, or flood.
- Stone chips, scratches, scuffs, or clear coat peeling.
- Water spots caused by hard water left to dry on the surface.
- Improper washing techniques (e.g., automatic brush washes).
- Application of third-party waxes or polishes.
- Lack of maintenance or negligence.
